Man of the Year Award

In the spring of 2012 in the capital of Ukraine awarded the best representatives of the Ukrainian elite, who due to their achievements in their professional field were determined as winners of the Nationwide Program “Man of the Year – 2011”. The program provides awarding the title and special prizes to the most outstanding personalities and projects, which by their activities not only contributed to the formation of our country as an independent progressive state, but also significantly contributed to the strengthening of a positive international image of Ukraine.

According to the results of work in 2011, Medical Center “Spizhenko Cyber Clinic” represented by its head Natalia Yurievna Spizhenko was awarded a special prize “For selfless service to people, their Fatherland and profession” by the nationwide program “Person of the Year 2011”.

It took only two and a half years for Spizhenko Cyber Clinic to become the winner of the prestigious award. In the period from autumn 2009 to May 2012, Cyber Clinic Spizhenko Medical Center provided medical care to more than 11500 patients, performed more than 3100 fractions of radiosurgical treatment to patients from 30 countries (France, Poland, Italy, Latvia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Bulgaria, Belarus, Nigeria, etc.). Doctors of Spizhenko Cyber Clinic are certified specialists with international certificates, who have undergone scientific and clinical practice in leading medical centers in the United States, Italy, England, Germany and Belarus.

Today, Spizhenko Cyber Clinic Medical Center is not only one of the few oncology centers in the world where combined treatment of oncological diseases using surgery, radiation therapy, radiosurgery and targeted chemotherapy is performed. It is also a recognized scientific center, where scientific and clinical bases of leading academic institutions of Ukraine are opened, as well as a reliable partner in the international arena: permanent membership in the International CyberKnife Association (USA) and cooperation with the European Institute of Oncology (Italy) are available in Ukraine only to Cyber Clinic.

The awarding of the special prize of the program “Man of the Year-2011” coincided with the decision of the State Accreditation Commission of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to assign the highest category to Spizhenko Cyber Clinic Medical Center.

“Do not stop at what has been achieved” – guided by this motto, in autumn 2012 our medical center was reconstructed and launched a new treatment building of radiation therapy with chemotherapy department, which allows the Clinic to conduct treatment combining radiosurgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy. We are proud to continue the scientific and clinical traditions of Ukrainian doctors, introducing modern diagnostic and treatment technologies into everyday medical practice, aimed at early diagnosis and improving the quality of life of the patient.
